Pretoria Expo is a science exhibition where learners from grade 1-12 have a chance to show others their projects about their own scientific investigations. Annually we have about 400 projects with 550 participants from 53 Pretoria primary and secondary schools. Usually schools first host their own Science Expo and then send their best projects to the Northern Gauteng Expo. This means that we have thousands of kids in the Pretoria region doing science projects every year! The Science Expo create the opportunity for learners to discuss their work with judges, educators and learners from other schools, increase their awareness of the wonders of science and broaden their scientific horizons.
Many of our Pretoria learners have done excellent on national and international level. The Expo is organised by a group of volunteers teachers, academics, and professionals who have one thing in common: our passion for science and technology education!
